Our company is owned and operated by a former serviceman. All of us here have a deep admiration for our men and women in the Armed Forces and the duty that they perform for our nation. After more than 20 years experience in the medical field and extensive research on cooling the human body, we have developed systems specifically for military applications. We have hundreds of Cool Shirts now in use in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Utilizing NASA study guidelines, our temperature-controlled cooling systems utilizeice and water circulated through standard military issue t-shirts reducing heat stress, heat fatigue and exhaustion.We can also custom-stitch any military branch-specific shirt for use with our cooling systems. The systems are portable and available in single, dual and multi-user units. They can be used ongoing where applicable or as a remote cooling station for periodic cool downs. All systems can be powered by 12V battery or 110V adaptor.

Military System Features

Shirt and Resposable Poncho

• Adjustable temperature controls are located on the insulated hose for easy access.
• Lightweight durable shirt weighs only 10 ounces when full of water
• Continuous cooling while connected
• Standard hose length is 8’, 10’ and 12’ hoses are available
• Shirts come in many sizes to accommodate all users – S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL
• Ponchos are one-size-fits-all and require no maintenance.
• Two vests can connect to one cooling unit with a Y-hose.
• Hooded Cool Shirt® available in a variety of sizes
• Quick-release, dry disconnects allow freedom of movement
• Easy maintenance shirt, just wash occasionally and drip dry. Poncho requires no maintenance.

Cooling Unit

NOTE: All Cool Shirt® Systems provided to the military now come standard with our patented Emergency Pull Release Connectors. In case of emergency when quick exit from the vehicle is necessary, the user is not required to depress the release buttons on the water hose to disconnect. They can simply step away from the cooling unit and the hose will disconnect at 17-20 lbs pull.
